Yulia Lipnitskaya (born June 5, 1998) is a Russian figure skater. At the young age of 15, this young Russian girl won a gold medal in team figure skating on home soil in Sochi. She is the youngest Russian Olympic gold medalist and second behind America's Tara Lipinski at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan. (Maxi Herber would be too young by the current skating rules).

She competed in Sochi at the young age of 15. The rules require that they need to be born before July 1, 1998. She finished fifth overall in singles after falling in the short program. After the Olympics, she was added to Unanimous, the team of Yoshi.

Ben and Toad's Contest

Many of the athletes that are competing at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom wanted her to be on season 1. However the rules say they need to be 15 in order to enter, and needed to be born before July 1, 1997, but she was ineligible for both season 1 and season 2. She finally meets the minimum age for seasons 3, 4 and 5. For season 1, she was only 14, too young to be on this season, and was replaced by Poland's Justyna Kowalczyk (cross-country skiing). She was also too young for the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics (born in June 1998), but young Russian figure skaters Elizaveta Tuktamisheva and Adelina Sotnikova competed.

She did not qualify for season 3 of Ben and Toad's Contest since there is a qualifier between her and season 16 contestant Dorothy Hamill. The winner in both rounds were led to be Hamill.

She was on season 5, but for only the switching team parts. She was announced to be one of season 6's female contestants following the 2014 IndyCar season. A favourite to win the trophy at Sonoma Raceway, she was eliminated before the Pocono race.
