Viktor Ahn (born November 23, 1985) is a South Korean-Russian short track speed skater, known also as Victor An (old name Ahn Hyun-Soo). He was the overall world champion from 2003 until 2007, when he injured in 2008. He was won an unpredictably six gold medals at the Winter Olympics (three for South Korea and three for Russia) and two bronze medals. Ahn has won eight Olympic medals in his career.

He has won a whooping 28 gold medals, 13 silver, and 8 bronze, with a total of 48 medals. He currently has one of the world records for most medals collected by a Winter Olympian.

He gained Russian citizenship in 2011. Despite not competing at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada, he finished in a disappointing seventh place (needs to finish in top 3 to qualify).


He competed as Ahn Hyun-Soo in the 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympics, in Salt Lake City and Torino. He did not participate in the relay in 2002 due to the crash by China's Li Jiajun.
