Tyranitar (Belarusian: Тыранітар) is a dual Rock/Dark type pseudo-legendary Pokemon introduced in Generation II.

It evolves from Pupitar starting at level 55. It is the final form of Larvitar.

Celebrity Family Feud

Tyranitar shows the show some Belarusian success, as it made the men's singles quarterfinals of Gus Kenworthy vs. Sheryl Underwood and David Chokachi vs. Alan Thicke. Tyranitar's opponent in the quarterfinals was the defending men's singles champion Hélio Castroneves. Tyranitar lost in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2 to the Honduran.

Tyranitar was seeded for the first time in a 2016 Celebrity Family Feud tournament in Garrett Morris vs. Alfonso Ribeiro and Todd Chrisley vs. Sara Evans. Tyranitar was bean by Castroneves in the quarterfinal for the second successive tournament, with almost exactly the same scoreline from Gus Kenworthy vs. Sheryl Underwood and David Chokachi vs. Alan Thicke. In the last match of the day starting at 11:00 Sonoma time, had Tyranitar beat Castroneves, it would have been an all-European semifinal.

Tyranitar upset Metagross in round 1 of the 2019 Anthoine Hubert Cup, which contributed to the Belgian's failure to qualify and the Belarusian's qualification for Pokémon Sword and Shield.
