Spain flag

Spain is a country in Western Europe, bordering Portugal, Andorra and France. It is known for their hot weather where they usually participate in the Summer Olympics. Spain hosted the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. Due to the hot weather and little winters, they don't send a lot of athletes to the Winter Olympics.

The country has a population of about 48 million people; the country has an area of about 506,000. There were verified supercentenarians from the country since 1973; Spain has about approx 50 verified supercentenarians.

The oldest Spanish person ever is an anonymous woman who is finally known as Maria Antonia Castro, but her name is M.A.C.C.. The Spanish national football team won the 2010 FIFA World Cup.


For the first time since season 1 week 8, Spain failed to qualify, after being fired in season 1 week 7; causing the Big One event to happen. They failed for Flag of Austria.svg Austria because of the damaged wing on Unanimous' car that sent the country, Flag of Brazil.svg Brazil, and other Ben and Toad's Contest season 1 contestants to 12th place. Spain is also known for tennis great Rafael Nadal.

Spain hosted one Olympics: Barcelona 1992. Spain has features for having Barcelona host the Winter Olympics; it would be one of the cities to host both of the Summer and Winter Games. Madrid announced a bid for 2016 but lost to Rio de Janeiro, Flag of Brazil.svg Brazil; the same country for season 1 of Ben and Toad's Contest.

Spain hosted the 1982 FIFA World Cup. The only times that the country failed were 1974. Spain qualified for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. They enter as the defending champions from South Africa 2010, defeating the Netherlands in the finals 1-0. They were surprisingly eliminated in the group stage after losses to the Netherlands (they could not defeat them again) and Chile, and a late victory over Australia.
