This is a list of contestants who participated in the first season of Ben and Toad's Contest.
Season 1 had 42 contestants. Originally the cast of season 1 would have 40 contestants. In some BATC events, season 1 plays with 41 contestants (21 females and 20 males).
Season 1 records
- Season 1 got the record for the biggest firing in week 7. This was considered to be The Big One in IndyCar.
- Season 1 is considered to be ranked higher than season 3 in overall attendance.
- Germany took eight points away from the championship in 2015 for avoidable contact. It was cut again to three points.
- Season 1 holds the record for most wins in 2016; due to France's team having Marini.
- Season 1 is one of the only seasons to have multiple contestants appear on Celebrity Wife Swap after the premiere.
- In case, it was Switzerland at Iowa in 2013 and Germany after finishing 2nd in 2014's Indy 500.
- Croatia and Germany got airborne during the Indy 500 practice in 2015. (Due to the crashes, Bosnia's team captain Olga Fatkulina couldn't play in the BATC sessions later in the practice).
