Jonathan Bald was a contestant on Wipeout Canada in the show's eighth episode, "Hot Cop and the Fuzz".

He won the episode, but he got a penalty in the Wipeout Zone, so his time was added by 15 seconds. Wipeout Canada officials penalized him in the Water Wall for going into the wrong wall before he fell into the halfway point. He went on the second wall instead of the first. He was the first and only Wipeout Canada contestant to get first in all four rounds. Bald was also awarded the Fifty thousand dollar prize.

Bald was originally seeded 20th, but the BATC rules of Will Power relegated Bald to being unseeded at the 2017 Math Open at Indian Wells.
