over a billion, losing to China

India is a country in southern Asia. Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, China, Bhutan, Burma, Indonesia (one of the islands) and Sri Lanka all share a border with the country. People from India are called Indians. India is expecting to have verified supercentenarians by 2050. It has an area of more than 3,000,000, but less than 3,500,000 and it is one of the ten largest countries. One of the famous landmarks include the Taj Mahal in western India. The country has a population of a billion, and the country loses out to China.

The India national football team qualified for the 1950 FIFA World Cup but they withdrew. They had qualified for the AFC Asian Cup at elite level.
