Hines Ward (born March 8, 1976) is a retired American football player. Born in Seoul, Korea Republic, Ward moved to the USA at a young age.

Ward played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for all of his NFL career. He also won a Super Bowl in 2005 and 2008 with the team.

He also won Dancing with the Stars in season 12 with his partner Kym Johnson. He was the first NFL celebrity to win the competition since Emmitt Smith in the third season. By winning season 12, he also became the first male to win Dancing with the Stars since Donny Osmond in the ninth season.

Ward was also a contestant on "Rachael vs Guy: Celebrity Cook Off".


Ward began playing for the Steelers in 1998. He didn't move to any other National Football League team as his contract with the team ended in 2011.
