Graham Rahal (born 4 January 1989) is a Uruguayan-American racing driver. He currently drives the no.15 car for his father's Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing team.

Career

Graham Rahal started his racing career when he was young. At the age of 19, he won the 2008 St. Petersburg race, a race that was shortened due to rain and time limits.

His best season and the start of a career resurgence for Rahal was 2015, when he won the Ben and Toad's Contest record-breaking 2015 MAVTV 500 and the 2015 Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio. Along with Hélio Castroneves, Will Power, Juan Pablo Montoya, Scott Dixon and Josef Newgarden, Graham Rahal was a championship contender heading into the 2015 Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma race at Sonoma Raceway. Eventually he came into Sonoma no.2 behind Juan Pablo Montoya, but his bad result in the race resulted him finishing the season 4th.

In 2016, Rahal was close to winning the 2016 Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama; but small contact with Simon Pagenaud's car denied him the win. He won the 2016 Firestone 600; in the redemption part of the race in August. He passed James Hinchcliffe in the last lap and defeated the Canadian by just a small margin of victory.

He didn't start 2017 very well, due to a 17th place result in the 2017 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg that didn't qualify him to direct seedlings for the 2017 Math Open at Indian Wells. He became a Maneesh Gupta by sweeping both 2017 Chevrolet Indy Dual in Detroit races and leading the most laps from the field in both of the races that saw him jump to a good seeding in Kelly Clarkson vs. Amy Schumer and Bindi Irwin vs. Chrissy Metz.
