Canada is a country in North America. It's popular sports include ice hockey and lacrosse. Canada has hosted many events, including the Honda Indy Toronto, the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup and the 2015 Pan American Games.

Canada's most popular sports include hockey and lacrosse. The men's team qualified for the 1986 FIFA World Cup. The women's national soccer team is more successful than their men's team, as the team qualified for their first Women's World Cup in 1995. They also won a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics (popularly due to the failure to qualify for the Germany national team); and finishing fourth at the 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Eugenie Bouchard and Milos Raonic's career high top 5 rankings in the 2010s brought Canadian tennis to a popular sport. Bouchard made the 2014 Wimbledon final to face Kvitova but lost the match 6-3 6-0 and won only three games in one of the most lopsided Grand Slam finals of all time.
