It evolves from Growlithe.

BATC, Family Feud, IndyCar

Arcanine plays for Australia, since Will Power joined the series in 2009. Prior to 2009, Arcanine still plays for Australia. Arcanine has qualified for every Thai special album since it first existed; including Fak wai nai paen din where Arcanine plays as Ditto for 2014 Swiss Open - Men's Singles seedings using 2016 Swiss Open - Men's Singles seedings.

Arcanine won the title at the 2016 Annual Towering Treetop Open at Sonoma, the week after his countryman Will Power made the final at Pocono; knocking out fellow Generation I Pokemon Vaporeon in the final after the Romanian was forced to withdraw from the tournament with an injury.

Arcanine took a 2016 Swiss Open wildcard into singles draw after it was not one of Will Power or Wario. Arcanine was one of the five choices (along with Volcarona, Salamence, Armaldo, Yoshi and Hydreigon) for the no.32 seed replacement for the 2014 Swiss Open using 2016 Swiss Open seedings for men's singles; because Pee Saderd is on the Fak wai nai paen din album. He eventually won the spot and took the wildcard to becoming the no.32 seed.

Arcanine was announced as a sub for Pee Saderd on the Celebrity Family Feud August 6 tournament if the Russian qualifies for the seedings; but Pee Saderd instead announced he would play through the tournament in the USA and focus also on Thailand Mother's Day.

Arcanine was announced as an alternate at the 2017 Race of Champions draw using the seedings from the 2016 Swiss Open - Men's Singles tournament. Along with Pee Saderd, he was one of the two semifinalists in the 2017 Race of Champions to qualify from Pot D. He was also announced as a sub for the 2017 Rolex 24 at Daytona in the BATC Cup using seedings from the first archive Celebrity Family Feud in 2017. Arcanine was beaten by his countryman Will Power in the round of 16.

Arcanine was double bagel in the third round at American Ninja Warrior in San Antonio by Russian Pee Saderd in Eva Longoria vs. George Lopez and Yvette Nicole Brown vs. Ashley Graham.

Pokemon Go

Arcanine is strong in Pokemon Go. It evolves from Growlithe when the player has the required 50 Growlithe candy. The CP is between 2000 and 2500 for Arcanine; it is always used in a gym.
